It is time to say goodbye to passwords and fingerprints: the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note could unlock with your eyes.
According to new rumors, the South Korean manufacturer will introduce an iris scanner on the next-generation device. The "rumors", already appeared earlier this year, seem confirmed by some of Evan Blass tweet, tech blogger known on Twitter as "evleaks" known for usually correct anticipations on industry news.
The new model should be called Galaxy Note 7, and not Notes 6, 'jumping' a number, and maintaining continuity with the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge launched earlier this year. The Notes 7 should have a 5.6 inch display, a 12 megapixel camera and front 5-megapixel, resistant to dust and water.
The main technological innovations should be the iris scanner, which will allow users to unlock the phone, and maybe even other functions or apps only with their own eyes. The colors are silver, black and blue.
There is still no official launch date of Note 7, but the device is expected by the end of summer (according to rumors there will be an event on August 2 in NY) or within the IFA technology fair in Berlin.
