- MORO Aratri
MORO Aratri need is to have the production time of each batch in the turning department to know the single batch cost monitoring data collection, have a log of data and access data from the offices real-time.
MORO Aratri is highly skilled in the design and production of ploughs and subsoilers.
The need is to have in the turning department the information of the product that must be worked at that moment, automate the data collection, have a log of data and access data from the offices real-time.
For this purpose, it is necessary to interconnect Heidenhain CNC lathes with the project management software and company MES, and compliance with legal requirements for the Italian National Industry 4.0 Plan to take advantage of the incentives.
The reading of data from machinery and automatic transfer to offices and management is required to TOOLS for SMART MINDS.
To satisfy the need of MORO Aratri, software for Industry 4.0, already developed and tested for a long time in T4SM, was used: iDaq, Lilium and Digital Factory 4.0 Frontend. They are used respectively to communicate with machinery, transfer collected information and monitor the entire plant in real-time.
All the set objectives have been achieved with a complete and scalable solution.
The machines, 2 Heidenhain CNC lathes, are connected to project management software and company MES.
iDaq takes care of data collected directly from the field. It is in fact used to communicate with machinery via the Heidenhain native library. For each machine, the main operating parameters are taken.
Digital Factory 4.0 collects all the data acquired by iDaq. It provides a global view of the data acquired by the plant machinery.
The data can be viewed in real-time from different locations, each customizable according to criteria of subdivision of machinery or type of data.
Lilium deals with the automatic transfer of data to the company database, from which the MES extrapolates the information for the visualization and the archive.

All the set objectives have been achieved, thus allowing MORO Aratri to obtain considerable benefits:
The solution is completely scalable. From the field point of view, it allows both to acquire new sizes and to connect new machines quickly, ensuring a minimal impact on the existing system.
Thanks to the modularity of iDaq it is possible to interconnect machines with technologies and functions even different from those already connected.
From a management point of view, Lilium is open to interfacing with third-party software for visualization, data analysis and business intelligence.
Finally, Digital Factory 4.0 allows the application of artificial intelligence algorithms, such as Machine Learning, predictive analysis and process drift control for each machine and plant. This makes it possible to predict stops and failures with the aim of promptly intervening, thus reducing downtime and production costs.
The collaboration with T4SM continues with the installation of another Digital Factory 4.0 Frontend, configured differently depending on the role held in the company.

""Trying to solve a problem of interconnection between production - warehouse - management, and advised by one of our historical suppliers, we had the pleasure to meet engineer Vivante and T4SM.
After a quick analysis, we immediately identified the solution and established the realization time.
T4SM has demonstrated technical competence and seriousness, collaborating with the various parties involved in the project and allowing us to achieve the objective".
